DS Waters' bottled water products include leading regional brands such as Alhambra, Belmont Springs, CrystalSprings, HinckleySprings, KentwoodSprings, SierraSprings and Sparkletts. United under DS Waters of America, Inc., these brands maintain stellar reputations and enduring values that are recognized and enjoyed by customers.
Alhambra began in 1902 when the National Water Company, a subsidiary of the National Ice and Cold Storage Company, produced and sold distilled water. In 1945, the National Water Company acquired Alhambra Water Company of San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to Alhambra National Water. The Alhambra brand is primarily available in Northern California.
In 1963, the founders of Kentwood Springs Water Company went on a quest for pure water. They found it in a deep artesian spring in the woods of Kentwood, Louisiana. Since then, we have been bottling Kentwood and delivering it to homes, offices and retail outlets across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
For over 80 years, Crystal Springs has delivered the finest quality water to homes and offices across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Pacific Northwest. The source of Crystal Springs can be found in the Chattahoochee National Forest, within the quiet woodlands west of Ocala, Florida, and from deep in the earth near Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Sparkletts was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1925. Since then, the brand has held the distinction of being one of the country's finest providers of pure, refreshing water. Sparkletts is also the official bottled water of many well-known theme parks and attractions across Southern California.
Otis Hinckley and George J. Schmitt founded Hinckley Springs in 1888 in Chicago, Illinois. Schmitt, a pharmacist's assistant, teamed with Hinckley, a route delivery person for spring water. The two purchased water from White Rock Corporation to deliver to customers and eventually started their own water delivery business. Today, Hinckley Springs is sold throughout the Midwest and is honored as the official bottled water at many Chicago-area events and attractions.
Sierra Spring Water Company was founded in 1950 in Sacramento, California. The high concentration of health-conscious consumers on the West Coast drove the expansion of Sierra Springs to markets throughout the Western U.S., from Texas to Wyoming.
Native Americans discovered the pure water of Belmont Springs high on a hill in Belmont, Massachusetts more than 300 years ago. Almost two centuries later, Belmont Springs has been established as a favorite bottled water delivered direct to customers. Belmont Springs is available throughout New England.
